Segment of a Modern Greek story/play (Swirl of a Swift river)

Endeis took refuge on a island of Salamis, where Cychreus was king and left a message, denying any part in the murder. Aecus, in reply, forbade her ever again to set foot in Aegina, though permitting her to plead the case from the sea. A murderous plot that ended by throwing a iron discus at the head and then despatched the victum with the ironing board.
